The Central Sterilization Services Department is an integrated unit for sterilizing the tools and devices used by us inside dental clinics, staffed by skilled specialists in the field of central sterilization, and is divided into three sections: The first section: Disinfection and cleaning section, in which the used tools are received and washed automatically using disinfectants approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The second section: the preparation and inspection section, which includes examining the tools and ensuring their suitability for use and the availability of a high safety element in them, then packaging them in designated bags and thermally sterilizing them in pressure ovens. The third section: is the sterile area, in which the tools are removed from the ovens, then cooled and stored until required. Thus the tools are fit for use again
